Pulau Soyak is located to the left of Salang Jetty. It is a small island surrounded by large underwater rocks and boulders with soft, encrusting corals and scroporus. In addition to many tropical reef fish, common sightings include lionfish, large bumphead parrotfish, nudibranchs and turtles.

Night dives can be an exciting affair as, due to the Venturi Effect created in the channel by the tides passing between Pulau Tioman and Pulau Soyak, eagle rays and black-tip reef sharks favour this location for their food supply. Lone barracudas, blue-spotted rays, moray eels, lionfish and a host of crustacens and invertebrates are found among the rocky protrusions, corals and sandy patches. The best depth range is 8m to 15m.

Here you can also found the famous Soyak Wrecks, which located on the side facing the mainland. The two wrecks are covered with a wide variety of soft and encrusting corals.
