Tokong Timur is located about 15 minute boat ride to the south of teluk Air Tawar leads to an assembly of elongated rocks in a roughly east-west direction that barely break the surface of the sea. Common sights include large schools of snappers, bannerfish, fusiliers, lizardfish, barracudas, ever-present parrotfish and Moorish Idol fish. Turning the corner to the northern side of Tokong Timur, the dive becomes a more relaxing drift dive. Ascending to the shallower area of the reef, magnificent rock walls covered with multitude of colorful soft corals and sponges.
