White-tip Avenue is situated off the eastern part of Pulau Sipadan. It has a terrace-like upper reef structure that teems with corals and reef fish, followed by a suddendrop into the deep sea. The tyical dive profile for this site will see you descending to around 30m to 35m. As you make your descent, you will pass large gorgonians, polys feeding in the current, black corals, triggerfish, boxfish, butterflyfish and parrotfish. Directing your attention to the open sea, grey reef sharks cruise the wall and, if in luck, you will see a school of majestic scalloped hammerhead sharks.
