Hanging Gardens is located at the northwestern side of Pulau Sipadan, a steep wall dive with the drop-off just below the surface. This site gets its name from the large groups of alcyonarian soft corals. The crevices and cracks of the wall are full with large gorgonians making for spectacular up-angle photographs into the sun. In the deeper region, you might encounger with reef sharks, leopard sharks and hammerheads. Large green turtles are ever present, either taking a nap in the many recesses or serenely drifting in the current.
