Tokong Laut is being considered as one of the best dive site in Perhentian. Located at the outcrops northwest of Pulau Perhentian, this site is characterized by a boulder terrain that descends to a depth of about 30m. Spectacular colorful soft corals in the upper region and a healthy growth of black coral, large gorgonians and sea fans sprout in the deeper region of the site among the valley-like gaps between the rocks. Green turtles, trevallies, tuna, lone napoleon wrasse, barramundi cod, emperor and titan triggerfish, emperorfish, unicorn fish, jacks, barracudas, kingfish, black-tip sharks, nurse sharks can usually be sighted.
