Paradise 1 & 2 is considered the most dived area in Pulau Mabul. This sites are the house reef of a Sipadan Water Village. The sandy bottom with its occasional submerged palm tree, old tyres and cement blocks does not seem to be a worthwhile location to explore but the algea patches on the seafloor house a variety of macro life forms. These range from sea horses, ghost pipefish, frogfish, sea moths, spotted-face moray eels hiding under the cement block, junenile cuttlefish, black-saddled tobies, yellow-spotted burrfish to snake and ribbon eels.
