The Valley is a gently sloping sandy area, descending to about 15m before steeply dropping away into the abyss of Layang-Layang.
The sandy area and coral outcrops are crowded with squirrelfish, butterflyfish, black-spotted pufferfish, spotted sweetlips, colorful crustaceans, nudibranchs, flatworms. It is also a cleaning stations for the multitude of reef inhabitants.
