Shark's Cave is situated at the southeastern tip of the atoll, approximately 15 minutes by boat ride. This is another most sought-after dive spots in Layang-Layang.

At the depth of around 26m, if you keep the wall to your right, you will notice a sandy ledge where variety of reef fish darting up and down. This sandy patch is a preferred resting place for leopard sharks and stingrays. At the end of the ledge appears the main attraction of this site - The Shark's Cave. Very often, you will find groups of white-tip sharks and leopard sharks huddling together in the cave.

  • Visibility - 10 - 30m
  • Dive Rating - 4 stars
  • Hazards - Generally none but monitor bottom time.
