East Reef is located off the eastern side of the island, the largest of the reef structure surrounding Pulau Langkayan. At around 12m depth, you will find that there site is covered by colorful, carpet-like expanse of acroporus, lettuce corals, table corals and sponges abounds.

Descending deeper to around 22m, the reef rapers off into the sandy bottom where bubble corals, small coral crabs, nudibranchs and flatworms populate the edge of the reef. The reef are also home to shoals of yellow snappers, fusiliers, striped catfish, six-banded anglefish, parrotfish, emperorfish, angelfish, soldierfish and cleaner shrimps.
